Song Title Challenge #47: Ahhh!!! – Joachim Witt

It’s time for this week’s Song Title Challenge.

Write a short piece of fiction, around 300 words, using the song title as your story title but don’t listen to the song.  You can pick your own genre or use the one suggested to me.  Remember to link back to this post so I can find yours.

If you would like to suggest a song title for a future post, you can do so from the challenge page.  You can also leave a suggestion on the Facebook page.

This week’s song is Ahhh!!! by Joachim Witt.  Thanks to bumblepuppies for the suggestion.  The genre is Historic Fiction.

(For the record, I believe the use of multiple exclamation marks are a sign on insanity.  In fact, one Terry Pratchett character remarked that the amount of exclamations one uses is directly proportional to one’s level of insanity.  But they’re part of the title.)

This week’s song is Every Sperm is Sacred by Monty Python from their film, The Meaning of Life.  Thanks to bumblepuppies for the suggestion.  The genre is Romance.

Advisory:  For my own peace of mind I’m flagging this one for mature content, knowing even as I do so that most ten-year-olds would probably consider it a bit tame.  So more for the sake of my older readers then 😉

This week’s song is Flushed From the Bathroom of Your Heart by Johnny Cash, an oldie this time from the inestimable bumblepuppies.  The genre is Horror/Thriller.

Advisory:  Today’s story is a bit disturbing in terms of content and contains some foul language.  Sensitive and younger readers might want to skip this one.

The song is great, though, which is why I’m putting it before the break.  Enjoy.

Thanks to bumblepuppies for this week’s very tame suggestion (compared to past titles) of Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day (not that I’m complaining – I think Green Day makes some pretty decent music and am very thankful to have a band that I’ve heard of before for a change).  The genre is Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
