I reckon by now I’ve probably permanently alienated every Frozen fan from my blog, but if there’s any one of them still hanging around this is sure to send them packing.
On the other hand, this made me laugh much more than the film itself ever did. Thanks to Tuan Ho for making me aware of it.
Short version: I thought Frozenwas terribly overrated. Much like Pixar’s Brave it simply did not live up to the hype that was created beforehand. And I really can’t see why everyone is so excited about Let It Go. (Okay. Those of you who are uninterested in my reasons for saying this may now go troll the comment thread. But please watch the video at then end of the post before you do.)
If you have no clue what the title of this post refers to, you’re probably one of those weird people who don’t watch television. The rest of you will probably all have experience the emotional roller-coaster that was the final episode of How I Met Your Mother.
Now if that book cover isn’t ominous, I don’t know what is. It doesn’t even need the rows of supersized teeth that were added in the film’s promotional posters and later editions of the novel. The mere idea that there’s something lurking underneath, something you can’t see, something much bigger than you, waiting to snatch you up in its terrible jaws. As explained yesterday, I don’t really have time to write at the moment. It’s a madness of packing and getting everything ready for the camp that starts early tomorrow morning. But I can hardly leave you with nothing on Valentine’s Day.
