Song Title Challenge #47: Ahhh!!! – Joachim Witt

It’s time for this week’s Song Title Challenge.

Write a short piece of fiction, around 300 words, using the song title as your story title but don’t listen to the song. You can pick your own genre or use the one suggested to me. Remember to link back to this post so I can find yours.

This week’s song is Ahhh!!! by Joachim Witt. Thanks to bumblepuppies for the suggestion. The genre is Historic Fiction.

(For the record, I believe the use of multiple exclamation marks are a sign on insanity. In fact, one Terry Pratchett character remarked that the amount of exclamations one uses is directly proportional to one’s level of insanity. But they’re part of the title.)

Disney’s Frozen, Another Look

I reckon by now I’ve probably permanently alienated every Frozen fan from my blog, but if there’s any one of them still hanging around this is sure to send them packing.

On the other hand, this made me laugh much more than the film itself ever did. Thanks to Tuan Ho for making me aware of it.

KokkieH Reviews Disney’s Frozen

Short version: I thought Frozen was terribly overrated. Much like Pixar’s Brave it simply did not live up to the hype that was created beforehand. And I really can’t see why everyone is so excited about Let It Go. (Okay. Those of you who are uninterested in my reasons for saying this may now go troll the comment thread. But please watch the video at then end of the post before you do.)

Gift of the Dryads Rebooted

You know how you phone IT support and the first thing they do is ask whether you’ve turned your computer off and on again?
